Little Egypt Arts Association is a not for profit artist Co-op that was established in 1995 by approximately 20 local artists and art patrons. At first we didn't have a building until the very generous contribution of Mrs. Powell in 1999. Once we had our own building at 601 Tower Square Plaza in Marion Illinois, we grew into a very dynamic teaching and showing facility in Southern Illinois for the visual arts. LEAA is 501c3 not for profit art organization dedicated to teaching, showing and promoting the arts. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Council of the Arts, a state agency.

Through Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) federal funding, Man-Tra-Con Corporation has been providing “no-cost” career guidance and employment services to job seekers since 1979. In addition, we provide recruitment services, employee-based training programs, and dislocated worker assistance to businesses located in Local Workforce Area 25 (LWA #25), comprised of Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Perry and Williamson counties. With guidance from our Chief Local Elected Officials and the Southern Illinois Workforce Development Board, we work to improve the quality of life for all customers we serve.

Mandala Gardens is the manifestation of a decades long dream and was created by Greg Reid & Diana Tigerlily. In the early 1990s while in graduate school, even before their daughter Raynah was born, they shared a dream of creating a botanical wonderland, a space of beauty and sanctuary for all living beings to enjoy, with herbs, flowers, heirloom vegetables, and stone sculptures grown in circular designs called mandalas ("sacred circles" in Sanskrit).

Marion Ministerial Alliance offers crisis intervention and aid to the poor. In 2022, the organization served 12827 meals through its soup kitchen, provided 3557 food baskets through its food pantry, and offered financial assistance to 103 families.

The park district currently owns and provides services at seven park locations covering approximately 112 acres. They are a member of Illinois Association of Park Districts. There are seven full-time employees, including the director of parks and recreation. During peak Season, the District employs 40 additional workers to provide necessary service and support for park operations and recreation programs.

The SIH Foundation provides financial assistance to our most vulnerable patients and community members in times of need during their cancer treatment or upon discharge from one of our facilities. We work every day to lessen their financial burden so they can concentrate on wellness and recovery. We also fund equipment, construction, and improvement projects at our hospitals and the SIH Cancer Institute in order to provide the best healthcare services to our community.
