Crab Orchard Golf Club is an 18 hole semi private golf course that is an enjoyable place to play no matter your skill level or age. The par 70 course boasts water on nine holes, large oak trees throughout, and lush fairways of Myers Zoysia and Westwood Bermuda.  Bentgrass greens allow for year-round play for the avid golfer. The golf course plays dramatically different depending on which of the 5 tees that are chosen. The average player can have fun playing from the middle and forward tees, but the golf course becomes much more demanding from the Championship markers.

A driving range and practice green are available to the public, and private lessons can be scheduled with a PGA Professional on staff.  The golf course is available for outings, and special meeting rooms are available for rent for civic groups and private parties.  Conveniently located between Carbondale and Marion near IL Highway 13 and just minutes from Interstate 57, COGC is easily accessible for daily play, a weekend away, or your next outing.

Mandala Gardens is the manifestation of a decades long dream and was created by Greg Reid & Diana Tigerlily. In the early 1990s while in graduate school, even before their daughter Raynah was born, they shared a dream of creating a botanical wonderland, a space of beauty and sanctuary for all living beings to enjoy, with herbs, flowers, heirloom vegetables, and stone sculptures grown in circular designs called mandalas ("sacred circles" in Sanskrit).

S.I. Bowl is a great place to have fun times with family and friends. At S.I. Bowl you can have a great time at prices that won’t break your family’s budget. We have plenty of bumper bowling lanes just for kids! Bumpers are great to keep the bowling balls out of the gutters and smiles on the faces of your small children.

We also have our COOL Cosmic Bowling where you bowl with the lights down – great music turned up and awesome special effects lighting…it looks like a nightclub!

visitSI was established in 1986 to promote memorable travel experiences throughout the various communities in Williamson County.  The organization is a not-for-profit 501(C) 6, governed by a Board of Directors made up of community leaders from the various towns we serve and led by Executive Director, Ashlee D. Spiller, CTE.

Mission Statement: To lead the way in coordinating a unified promotional and development effort; which will increase the quantity and expenditures of visitors to Williamson County and Southern Illinois, maximizing Tourism’s contribution to the local economy.
