Dayempur Herbals is a seed-to-shelf business that makes and sells natural herbal remedies. Our herbs are Certified Naturally Grown, and we purchase organic herbs and ingredients from local and known sources. We use traditional methods to handcraft tinctures/liquid extracts, infused oils, salves, syrups and sprays.

ethOs (Entrepreneurial & Technical Opportunities) is a community providing coworking and meeting spaces, start-up incubator support, and training and development for small businesses and nonprofits. We offer spaces for a wide array of coworking purposes including space for remote, freelance, and start-up entrepreneurial work. We offer workshops and classes to develop business, nonprofit, and leadership knowledge and skills.  We offer advising, coaching, and connections to help new businesses and nonprofits launch and grow.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to stand beside every woman, child, and family affected by cancer, offering a helping hand, a caring heart, and a relentless commitment to their well-being. We believe in facing cancer head-on, armed with love, compassion, and resources that ease the burdens of this challenging journey.

Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois serves over 6,500 girls and nearly 3,400 adults in 40 counties in Southern Illinois. Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois has a yearly operating budget of approximately $4.3 million. One out of every seven school aged girls in our jurisdiction is a Girl Scout.

Hundreds of programs are offered by Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois and our network of volunteers, annually, as part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience where girls Discover, Connect, and Take Action.

The John A. Logan College district consists of one central campus and extension centers in the towns of DuQuoin and West Frankfort. Many courses in baccalaureate transfer, career education, continuing education and adult literacy are taught in high schools and public facilities throughout the five-county district.

Little Egypt Arts Association is a not for profit artist Co-op that was established in 1995 by approximately 20 local artists and art patrons. At first we didn't have a building until the very generous contribution of Mrs. Powell in 1999. Once we had our own building at 601 Tower Square Plaza in Marion Illinois, we grew into a very dynamic teaching and showing facility in Southern Illinois for the visual arts. LEAA is 501c3 not for profit art organization dedicated to teaching, showing and promoting the arts. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Council of the Arts, a state agency.

Marion Unit #2 Schools are comprised of 235 certified staff that are dedicated to providing quality educational programs to over 4,000 students in 7 buildings daily.    These quality programs include strong core academics, a variety of vocational programs, successful fine and applied arts, offerings for talented and special students, and a wide spectrum of extra-curricular opportunities.  Approximately 50% of district teachers possess advanced degrees, and nine staff members are recognized as National Board Certified Teachers.
