The Fallen Outdoors (TFO) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to organizing outdoor adventures such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping for Veterans, active-duty service members, and Gold Star families. Founded in 2009 by three soldiers during their deployment in Afghanistan, The Fallen Outdoors works with service members from every generation and from all branches of the military to create meaningful connections and introduce them to lifelong outdoor pursuits.

The Lighthouse Shelter for the homeless in Marion, Illinois is a faith based organization dedicated to promoting the general welfare of the homeless in Southern Illinois.

The Shelter has three wings which ideally serve up to 60 men, women and families.

The Shipping Saint Store provides carrier service through UPS, FedEx, the US Postal Service, and SpeeDee Delivery Service, and offers a premium white glove delivery service for shipping or receiving items that need personalized attention due to their size, value or fragility. The Shipping Saint Store also offers business services including mail and package receiving, photocopy, printing, shredding, faxing, and packing and shipping, along with retail offerings like boxes, tape, and other packing supplies.

The Southern Illinoisan is a daily newspaper that is published seven days a week. The print edition of The Southern is delivered to subscribers Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. A digital edition of the paper is published Monday through Sunday and delivered to subscribers’ in-box or via a link on the website (TheSouthern.com) or app (available in your app store).

The Southern Illinoisan began in Carbondale, Illinois in 1947 when the Lindsay-Schaub Newspapers of Decatur, Illinois bought three area newspaper—The Daily Free Press of Carbondale, The Murphysboro Daily Independent and the Herrin Daily Journal—and merged them into a single publication. Lee Enterprises bought the paper in 1979 and held it until Paxton Media Group purchased The Southern in December 2023.

Paxton Media Group is a privately held, family-owned business that began with the Paducah Sun newspaper, in Paducah, Kentucky in 1896.

The Voyage has been serving seniors in Southern Illinois for more than twenty years. The Voyage began with one small community and has now grown to seven communities at four locations and two independent living complexes. Since the Lincoln administration signed our national bank charter No. 24 in 1863, we’ve drawn on our financial strength to serve customers.
