Specialized Equine Services Seeking Volunteers to Support Programs
Specialized Equine Services (SES) is calling on passionate and dedicated individuals to join our volunteer team! Volunteers are essential to helping us provide life-changing equine therapy and activities to individuals in our community.
Volunteer Opportunities: We are currently seeking volunteers for Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, starting at the end of February. Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks, including:
= Side walking alongside horses to ensure rider safety
= Helping with rider activities
= Leading horses during sessions
= Assisting with barn cleanup and horse care
= Supporting fundraising efforts
Our programs operate out of Rose O'Sharon Equine Farm, located at 830 Rowan Road, Makanda, IL 62958.
Volunteer Requirements:
= Must be at least 16 years old (or 13 years old with adult supervision)
= Enthusiasm for working with horses and helping others
